Decals

This is a page dedicated to my hobby of making decals for decorating everyday stuff.

Everyday things  that you own say something about you. hmm… what do I mean.. ? For example, your car. How did you choose your car from the many choices that are available? Was it the look? color? image? branding? or engine and performance? Whatever the reason, or combo of reasons, your choice of car says something about you. In similar ways, your choice of furniture, your decor in your home and office, your laptop, your gadgets, everything that you own is part of you and is part of your image.

There are many ways to show people who you are and what you like. Here, I am using decals to show that I am fun-loving, image conscious, smart, intelligent, tasteful (IMHO)… This is what I think of myself, and I want my personal objects to show it.

Custom flower decals on Trio, Jan 2007

Not the plain looking Daihatsu from the factory anymore. My girl has been decorated with light grey flowers. Simple and sweet. Subtle, but still eye catching.

My “girly” chopper. The way I like it. Simple and sweet… not that I am a simple nor sweet person, but I like how this design blends in with the curves to subtly say that this is a girls bike. Not the regular design for most choppers out there. Nope, flames and skulls do not suit my image.

After 3 sets of decals, finally, I’ve a lettering for Eleanor that I am quite happy with. Thats the perks for running a business like this. ..
