Fun little eco friendly projects

Floating key fob.

What do we do with all that close-cell foam packaging material that comes with the appliances that we buy? Actually, this stuff can be broken down and recycled with some effort at the recycling plant.. but as sea-farers, we can have plenty of use for this very durable floatable material… do you have any ideas?

How about a floating key fob for the mariners?.. personal and makes a great gift. These are some of my makings for Christmas gift exchange this year.

With some creativity, there are many ways to use closed cell foam in making casing for little projects. Share your ideas with me. I am always happy to try making new things..
