Fixing Trio DIY part II

Faint scratch repairs still visible.

Faint scratch repairs still visible.

It was almost 1 month ago that Trio got hit by vandals at Kips Mart Kota Tinggi. I have been working on the repair for a few hours every weekend since, painting, sanding, compounding. Finally! Its done.
Wish I could do better than this, but … whatd’ya think? Could you spot it?

Here I am using a cute decal to draw attention to Odie, and hoping that the scratches dont show up as much. .. Could have done a solid backing to totally cover it up, but I think it would look obviously repaired..

Thats the new Trio look. Viola!

New look. Kawaii?

    Hi Lang!
Very trendy! You’re going to start something. Maybe anyone who has their car “keyed” can come to
you and choose a decal design for a fancy repair. Your car has character now! It’s quick to find in a parking lot–a good selling point. In the US, we say, “If you’re given lemons, make lemonade!”
Warm wishes for a splendid little vacation,

Thanks Paula. Part of the reason for this blog is to showcase various applications of vinyl stickers. Using them as a decal for fixing door dings, key scratches and making your car easy to find. All great ideas. Thanks, really appreciate your feedback.
