I’m thinking of going to Desaru in a couple of weeks (24-26 July) and am keen to see the fireflies. I read on a blog that you do trips on your boat for RM100 and am thinking maybe that might be better than the organised tour from the hotel? Am I right in thinking your boat would be less noisy so we’d potentially see more fireflies? The thread was quite old but I see you’ve updated your blog recently so thought I would drop you a line on the off-chance!

No, I dont know who made wider wake. I have met the guy who owns it and he is pretty regular at the marina on the weekends. If you would like, come around to the marina and look for him.

Hello Capt. Lang, I am thinking about getting into sailing, but I am new in this area. My only sailing experience is dingy sailing at OBS.
